Hill tallied the game-winner for the UWSP men's hockey team in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. His goal at 9:28 of the fourth overtime ended the longest game in UWSP history and the seond longest DIII game ever.

Comer went 3-for-4 with a walk, reaching base four times in the win over Millikin on Monday to wrap up an unbeaten opening weekend. He scored a run in the pivotal 10th inning. Comer completed the opening weekend of games with a .417 batting average.
Sidney Ferry, Baseball
Ferry picked up the win in relief as UWSP improved to 3-0 on the year with a 4-2 win in 10 innings at Millikin on Monday. He tossed a scoreless, hitless ninth inning to push the game to extras. Then after the Pointers posted two runs in the top on the 10th, he shut the door with another scoreless, hitless inning in the 10th. He struck out one in each inning and the only runner to reach base was on a fielding error. He is now 1-0 with a save after opening weekend.
