Wagner was fantastic in net making 24 saves, 15 in the third period in the WIAC Championship game on Saturday. Wagner only let up one goal, helping the Pointer's win their fourth WIAC Tournament (presented by Culver's) Championship. With the win, they secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Anthony Tomczak, Baseball
Tomczak went 3-for-8 on opening day with a double and team-high three RBI as UWSP won both games Sunday. He hit an RBI double in the win over St. Scholastica. Then against Coe, he drove in two with a third-inning single. Later in the inning, he scored a run.

Tyler Beyer, Jr., Baseball
Beyer tossed 6.0 shutout innings in his first career start to earn the win in the season opener against St. Scholastica on Sunday. He scattered three hits, struck out three and did not allow a walk.
