Anderson scored a game-winner and assisted on the other as the Pointers swept a weekend series at UW-Superior to clinch the top-seed in the WIAC Tournament. He scored both goals on Friday in the clincher as UWSP won 2-1. Then in Saturday’s season finale, he assisted on the game-winning goal to extend his point streak to six games.

AJ Makinen, Men's Basketball
Makinen made five three-pointers over UWSP’s two games last week, including a 2-for-3 shooting performance from long range on Saturday at UW-Eau Claire. He averaged 9.5 points per game with six total rebounds, six assists and four steals last week.
Diego Mosquera Herrero, Men's Tennis
Mosquera Herrero came out on top in a both doubles and singles with tiebreakers involved in both as UWSP picked up the win at Wisconsin Lutheran on Friday. He teamed up with Steven Benoy at No. 1 doubles and they got an 8-7 victory after winning the tiebreaker, 7-3. At No. 2 singles, he was back in the tiebreaker scenario coming out on top, 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) putting UWSP within a point of the victory.
Mason Mead, Men's Track
Mead was a mere 0.15 seconds behind the winner in the 200-meter dash at the Midwest Invitational on Saturday with a time of 22.74. He took second out of 23 finishers in the event.
Luca Paladino, Men's Wrestling
Paladino placed third at 125 to lead the Pointers at the WIAC Championship this weekend. After dropping his first match of the day, he went 3-0 in the consolation bracket. He won a tiebreaker and two decisions to take third.
