Wellhausen ran away from her competition in the 600 at the Pointer Alumni Open besting the 2nd place finisher from St. Norbert by 9 seconds.  Her performance of 1:37.82 is the 6th best time in Pointer school history.

Courtney Leising, Women's Hockey
Leising assisted on two of UWSP’s three goals against No. 2 UW-River Falls over the weekend. Her assist on Friday came on Sara Aadalen’s goal with just 1.7 seconds left in the first period. Then on Saturday, Leising got an assist as her shot was tipped in for a power-play goal just 23 seconds into the third period.

Joy Vandenberg, Women's Swimming
Vandenberg won the 50-yard freestyle in UWSP’s dual at Northern Michigan on Saturday. Her winning time of 25.23 edged out the runner-up by just 0.02 seconds. In Friday’s win at UW-Oshkosh, Vandenberg took first place in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:10.64, nearly three seconds ahead of the runner-up. She also swam a leg of the winning 200-yard free relay and the 200-yard medley relay with times of 1:41.58 and 1:53.73, respectively.
