Thomson averaged 15.5 points per game in UWSP’s two league contests. She posted her second double-double of the season with a career- and game-high 22 points and 11 rebounds in Saturday’s win over UW-Platteville. She added nine points and six rebounds on Wednesday against UW-Stout. For the week, she shot .545 from the field (12-22) with 17 rebounds, five assists and two steals.

Courtney Leising, Women's Hockey
Leising scored a pair of goals in UWSP’s home win over conference foe Northland on Saturday. She put UWSP ahead in the first period with a power-play goal. Then in the third period, she scored a shorthanded goal. It was her second multi-goal game in conference play this season.

Joy Vandenberg, Women's Swimming
Vandenberg won the 100-yard butterfly at the Wheaton Invite to help UWSP finish third in the eight-team event. Her winning time of 57.93 was a mere 0.10 ahead of the runner-up. She came in fourth in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.57. The event had 24 swimmers finish.
