Larsen won all four events he competed in during UWSP’s dual win over UWW. Individually, he topped the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.37. Larsen also won the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 52.36. He was also a member of the winning 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:34.68 and the 200-yard free relay with a time of 1:25.92.

Other Nominees
Jake Buchanan, Men's Basketball
Buchanan posted a career-high 25 points in UWSP’s comeback win at Edgewood on Saturday. He shot 9-for-14 from the floor (.643) and made 3-of-5 three-pointers. He also dished three assists and had a rebound in the win.

Evan Plummer, Men's Dive
Plummer won both the one-meter and the three-meter dives versus UWW with a score of 302.80 in both events.  

Noah Finstrom, Men's Hockey
Finstrom extended his point streak to four-straight with an assist and a game-winning goal as UWSP went 2-0-0 in league play last weekend. He assisted on a goal in UWSP’s league-opening win over UW-Stout on Friday. Then on Saturday, he netted the game-winner at Northland as UWSP swept opening weekend of WIAC play.

Trystan Altensey, Men's Wrestling
Altensey went 3-2 and took fifth place in the 184 bracket at the CUW Open. He won by fall late (6:46) in his first match of the day. He then won 3-2 and 4-2 decisions before taking fifth with a medical forfeit.
