Thomson averaged 14.3 points a game during opening week to help the Pointers start the year 3-0 for the first time since 2016-17. She posted 18 points in UWSP’s home opener win over Northland. Then on Friday, she posted a double-double, the first of her career, with 17 points and 10 rebounds as the Pointers upset #14 Millikin. On Saturday, she grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds while scoring eight points in a victory over Carroll. She was named to the UWW Tipoff Tournament all-tournament team.

Wellhausen was Pointer to step across the line in 35th place with a time of 23:11.6, her fastest time of the season at the NCAA Midwest Regional this past weekend.Â
Emma Peterson, Women's Volleyball
Peterson recorded 20 digs in her UWSP finale at the NCAA Regional Semifinal this weekend. She concludes her career with exactly 2,200 digs, the second-most in school history. In the first round of the Regional, Peterson led all players with 21 digs.
Jade Herzer, Women's Wrestling
Herzer reached the finals of the 170 bracket before placing second at the Adrian Open this weekend. She had two tech fall wins and a 7-5 decision victory.Â
