University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Buchanan scored in double figures all three games as the Pointers started the year 2-1. He scored 10 points in UWSP’s opener against St. Olaf. Then on Saturday, he added 11 points in a win over Webster. In Sunday’s Jack Sikma HOF Invitational title game, he increased his point total to 15 while shooting 3-for-4 from behind the arc. He added six rebounds, six assists, three steals and a block on the week. Buchanan was named the tournament MVP for his performance in Illinois.

Noah Finstrom, Men's Hockey
Finstrom racked up three points in UWSP’s 1-0-1 weekend in Minnesota. He scored the game-winning goal at Saint Mary’s on Friday. Then on Saturday, he added an assist and a goal in UWSP’s game at St. Olaf. It was his first multi-point game of the season and fourth of his career.

Brandon Peckham, Men's Wrestling
Peckham went 4-0 on the day at 165 for the Pointers at the Adrian Duals on Saturday. He started the day with 7-3 and 4-3 decision wins against Adrian and Ohio Northern. He then won a major decision, 13-3, against St. Clair County Community College before capping the day with a fall at 1:40 versus West Liberty University.
