Gallagher set a school record for the longest receiving touchdown in program history. He hauled in a 94-yard reception, fended off a defender and tip-toed down the sideline for the score, tying for the longest overall reception in school history. He later had a 53-yard touchdown catch. On the day at UWEC, he had 6 receptions for 186 yards, the 28^th-most single game receiving yards in program history.

Northey had a goal and an assist in UWSP’s season opener at St. Norbert. It was the fifth multi-point game of his career. Both his goal and the assist helped UWSP pull even and take the No. 6 Green Knights to overtime for the first of two times on the weekend.
