Krouse won the individual title at the Tom Hoffman Invitational on Saturday. Her time of 23:27.1 was just over a second faster than the runner-up and helped the UWSP women earn top team billing at the event.

Kati Frierdich, Women's Soccer
Frierdich had three goals and an assist in UWSP’s three matches last week. She had UWSP’s goal in a 1-1 draw at Carthage on Wednesday, her first tally of the year. Then on Sunday, had had her second career five-point match with two goals and an assist in a 3-0 win over St. Norbert.
 

Shea-Lynn Gerred, Women's Soccer
Gerred moved to outside back this week for UWSP’s three matches. On Wednesday, she helped UWSP garner a 1-1 draw at Carthage. On Sunday, she was vital in a 3-0 shutout of St. Norbert, limiting the Green Knights to just five shots on net. Her pace allowed Gerred to get forward frequently and she had an assist at Carthage and stepped to the spot to convert a PK against No. 7 Wartburg on Saturday to run her point streak to four-straight matches.


Ashley Kopp, Volleyball
Kopp led the Pointers to a 3-0 week, including a four-set win over No. 8 Gustavus Adolphus. She came one dig shy of a double-double in all three matches on the week. In Wednesday’s conference opener, she posted a match-high 21 kills with four aces and nine digs. On Friday, she had 16 kills and a season-high 18 digs in the win over the Gusties. In the week’s finale, she again had a double-double with 11 kills and 13 digs in a straight-sets win over Loras.
