Cashin gashed the Simpson defense for 167 rushing yards in Saturday’s win, the 17th-best single game rushing total in program history. Cashin scored three rushing touchdowns in the win on runs of 70, 38 and 19 yards. He had just 12 carries in the game for an average of 13.9 yards per carry. He added 62 yards on two kickoff returns as well. Cashin even downed a punt at the visitor 1-yard line in the second quarter.

Lutz helped the UWSP men's team finish second place at the Tom Hoffman Invite in Whitewater this weekend with a time of 26:57.7 to take fourth overall.

Tysen White, Football
White made two of UWSP’s four interceptions in Saturday’s victory over Simpson. He was also second on the team with five tackles, four solo, in the win. His first interception came on the final play of the first half as UWSP secured a 20-0 halftime lead. White grabbed his second INT of the game on the first play of the fourth quarter as UWSP locked up the 35-14 win.
