Cashin electrified the UWSP crowd with a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to open the second half of the home opener versus Mayville State on Saturday. The return is the third-longest scoring play in UWSP football history. For the game, he had four kickoff returns for 165 yards, and offensively, he ran for 20 yards on three carries and another touchdown.

Mosquera Herrero earned a point for the Pointers with a win at No. 2 singles cruising to a 6-3, 6-3 win. He paired with Steven Benoy at No. 1 doubles to claim an 8-5 win for UWSP's other point.
