For the second time this track and field season Rachel Krouse has a run an event for the first time and broken a school record.  This time, she finished as the first collegiate at the Phil Esten Challenge in the 10,000 with a time of 35:21.11 breaking a school record that had stood for 34 years. She now has the top time in the WIAC and the 8th best mark nationally.

Sara Traxel, Softball
Traxel hit .636 and reached base in all four league games for the Pointers last week. She went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored at UW-Whitewater on Tuesday. Then on Saturday, she went 4-for-6 with two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base at UW-Eau Claire. She led the team with a .714 on-base and a .727 slugging percentage for the week.
