University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

For the second time this track and field season Rachel Krouse has a run an event for the first time and broken a school record.  This time, she finished as the first collegiate at the Phil Esten Challenge in the 10,000 with a time of 35:21.11 breaking a school record that had stood for 34 years. She now has the top time in the WIAC and the 8^th best mark nationally.

Sara Traxel, Softball
Traxel hit .636 and reached base in all four league games for the Pointers last week. She went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored at UW-Whitewater on Tuesday. Then on Saturday, she went 4-for-6 with two RBI, two runs scored and a stolen base at UW-Eau Claire. She led the team with a .714 on-base and a .727 slugging percentage for the week.
