Berlin placed fourth at the NCAA Championships on Saturday to pick up his second All-America nod after receiving one in 2020 after the NCAA Championships were canceled. He came up just short in the semifinal match against the top-seed in the 133 bracket. He dropped a 5-4 decision despite getting on the board first with an escape in the second period. Three stalling calls on the opponent wasn't enough to overcome a pair of takedowns. In the consolation bracket, he advanced to the third-place match with a 2-1 decision win. Then in the third-place match, Berlin dropped a 7-2 decision to conclude his season. Berlin finishes his season with a 28-5 record.
