Pilecky continued her dominance of the freestyle distance events winning both the 500- and 1000-yard events at UW-Eau Claire in the season opener on Saturday.  Her winning time of 10:47.73 in the 1000-yrad freestyle was more than 36 faster than the runner up.  In the 500-yard freestyle, she won by more than 11 seconds with a time of 5:20.81.

Jessica Camarato, Soccer
Camarato netted the game-winner in the 83rd minute in UWSP’s victory over UW-Platteville on Saturday.  It was her second goal of the year, both of which have been game-winners.

Olivia Piloni, Soccer
Piloni helped UWSP’s defense hold a clean sheet for 119:59 over two matches last week.  Her defensive efforts aided UWSP in a shutout win at UWEC on Wednesday and to another league win on Saturday versus UW-Platteville.

Ashley Kopp, Volleyball
Kopp led all players in kills in each of the three matches at the Holiday Inn Express Classic III in Bloomington, Ill. She was named to the all-tournament team as UWSP won all three matches.  Kopp racked up 20 kills in matches at UW-Oshkosh and against Augustana and averaged 5.29 kills per set for the four matches.  She also had a double-double at UWO with 25 digs.  In Saturday’s match versus Augustana, Kopp hit .548 in the win.  She at least one ace in every match last week and at least one block in three of the four matches.

Emma Peterson, Volleyball
Peterson racked up a season-high 27 digs in just three sets as UWSP finished the weekend with a sweep of host Illinois Wesleyan at the Holiday Inn Express Classic III.  She was named to the all-tournament team.  Peterson had three-double digit digs matches last week.  She had at least one assist in each match, totaling 12 on the week.  She also had five service aces. 

Olivia Greymont, Cross Country
Greymont from Cedarburg, WI led from the gun to earn the victory at the Warhawk Open in a new personal best time of 24:42, 1:44 faster than her time at the course earlier in the season.
