Michalske, served up a season-high and career-high six aces, also racking up 38 assists, seven digs and a kill in the win against North Central College. Her 38 assists and six aces were more than NCC’s whole team on Friday.  The freshman finished the weekend off with a combined 82 assists and 23 digs for her third and fourth double-double of the year against Elmhurst and Wheaton.  Michalske averaged 10.27 assists per set and totalled 11 aces on the week.

Kati Frierdich, Soccer
Frierdich, was two for two shooting at goal in the match against UW-Whitewater pushing the Pointers over the Warhawks for their fifth win of the season. The junior leads the team in goals with six. Her two goals were UWSP’s only shots on goal in the win.  Saturday’s two-goal performance was the third of her career.

Miranda Nieman, Soccer
Nieman, earned the Pointers a shutout win at UW-Whitewater. The goalkeeper had seven saves for her second shutout of the season.  The clean sheet on Saturday was the fifth of Nieman’s career.

Emma Peterson, Volleyball
Peterson averaged 4.47 digs per set over the four matches last week. She led the team in digs all four matches and combined for 58 digs in three matches over the weekend in Illinois.
