Woelfel posted 3 wins on the week, improving her singles record to a perfect 12 – 0 on the season. The senior, who traditionally plays the #6 singles spot, played up in the Pointers lineup this past week. She earned a 6 – 3, 6 – 3 win over Hanna Stitt from UW Oshkosh at the #4 spot this past Wednesday, and followed that up with back to back wins on Saturday. Playing in the #1 singles spot, Woelfel was victorious over Ali Wingood from Concordia Chicago 6 – 3, 6 – 4 and also defeated Hanna Kelei from Alverno 6 – 0, 6 – 0. Kaylee has been an integral senior leader and a huge reason the Pointers are off to their best start in program history, setting a school record for wins (15) in the process.

Downie finished in a tie for second individually at the UWRF Invite. Downie shot an 83 in each round.

Barbara Covek & Jenna Koepp, Tennis Doubles
Covek & Koepp defeated Jenna Nolde & Michelle Spicer from UW Oshkosh 8 – 3 this past Wednesday in their lone match of the week. With the win, they improved to 2 – 0 in WIAC play, and now post a 13 – 2 overall record on the season. It has been a historic year for Covek & Koepp, who also earned the program’s first doubles victory in program history at the ITA regional late last month.
Reis Derousseau, Volleyball
Derousseau posted a career-high 11 kills in UWSP’s match at Augsburg on Wednesday. She added five more kills in a sweep of UW-Stout on Friday. For the week, she hit .333 with six digs, six blocks and an assist.
Emma Peterson, Volleyball
Peterson extended her streak of double-figure digs 15-straight matches with 13 and 17 against Augsburg and UW-Stout, respectively. Both double-digit digs matches were three sets last week.
