Momont on the heptathlon with a school record score at the WIAC Championships (presented by Culver's) this past weekend. With Momont's win, the UWSP women took third in the team standings. Her score of 4882 broke the UWSP outdoor record that stood since 1987.  On Saturday, she won the long jump giving her victories in four of the events.

Maddie Candre, Softball
Candre had multiple hits in three of UWSP’s four games last week, including four extra-base hits, for a .538 average and a 1.000 slugging percentage.  She opened the week with a double and run scored in a two-hit outing at UWO.  Then in Friday’s regular season finale at UW-Stout, she went 5-for-7 with two doubles and a home run with four runs scored in the twin bill sweep.  Candre ended the regular season with the most hits and total bases in conference play and led all players in hitting (.509) and on-base percentage (.559) during league play.
