Comer batted .500 with a 1.111 slugging percentage in UWSP’s four wins over UWEC last week.  Five of hits nine hits went for extra bases, including three home runs.  Comer had five RBI and scored five times on the week.  After scoring the go-ahead run in the opener at UWEC on Wednesday, he hit a two-RBI single in game to that all-but sealed the win in the eighth.  On Saturday, he belted three home runs against the Blugolds to aid in the series sweep.

Sidney Ferry, Baseball
Ferry earned a victory and recorded two saves as the Pointers swept UWEC last week.  He pitched the final two innings of UWSP’s win in the series opener, inheriting two runners in the eighth and stranding the bases loaded with the lead intact to earn the save.  In game one on Saturday, he pitched a perfect ninth and earned the win as UWSP won on a walk-off grand slam.  He returned for the save in game two pitching a scoreless ninth.
