Schultz won his second-straight start on Thursday with a victory over UW-Stout in game two.  He allowed just one hit in 6.0 and racked up eight strikeouts.  He has now struck out 22 batters in 11.0 innings pitched in two outings.

Nelson hit .400 with a team-high seven RBI and 11 total bases in UWSP’s four games against UW-Stout.  He hit three doubles and a triple among his six hits.  He scored four runs, had a .733 slugging percentage, drew two walks and stole a base.  In game one against the Blue Devils, he drove in two and scored twice in a 2-for-3 game with both hits going for extra bases.  In game two, he drove in another on a sac fly.  In game three in Menomonie, he ripped two doubles with four RBI, a stolen base and a run scored.  Nelson had another hit and a run scored in the series finale.
