University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Brian Thill, junior (Webster, Wis., / Webster), won the overall title in the Pentathlon event this past weekend at the Pointer Invite.  Thill placed in the top-ten in all five events and registered a personal best in three of the five events.  Thill had first place finishes in both the shot put and the high jump.  Thill’s overall score of 3,605 earned him a NCAA provisional qualifying spot in this spring’s NCAA Championships.
