Thurber pinned her opponent in UWSP’s dual at Augsburg on Sunday in 51 seconds.  It was her ninth win by fall on the season and she improved her record to 16-4 for the year.

Jamie Pfeifer, Women's Basketball

Pfeifer was solid off the bench in UWSP’s two league games last week.  On Wednesday, she had six rebounds, four points, two steals and an assist in 22 minutes.  Then on Saturday at UW-Eau Claire, she tied for the team high with seven boards in just 18 minutes.  She added five points, three steals and two blocks at UWEC.

Anna Pilecky, Swimming

Pilecky won the 500- and 1650-yard freestyle events at the Point Invite over the weekend.  Her winning time of 5:14.19 in the 500-yard event was more than eight seconds faster than the field which included 16 participants.  She won the 1650-yard event in a time of 18:04.98, 20 seconds faster than the runner-up.

Claire Neuberger, Diving

Neuberger won the one-meter dive with a score of 412.95.  She was tops in the field of 16 divers in the event and the only diver to score more than 400 points.
