Young won three individual events at the Point Invite last weekend.  On Friday, he won the 200-yard breaststroke and the 200-yard IM with times of 2:11.09 and 1:56.87, respectively. On Saturday, he won the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:14.11, six seconds faster than the field.

Dan Squires, Men's Wrestling

Squires’ return to the mat was triumphant.  He needed just 48 seconds to pin his opponent at Concordia (Wis.) on Thursday. It was Squires’ first match of the season.
 

Blake Ehrke, Men's Baskeball

Ehrke averaged 17 points in UWSP’s two games last week.  He scored a team-best 21, including six late, in a 66-64 win at No. 7 UW-Platteville.  His 21 points in the win at UWP were one shy of his season high as Ehrke shot .583 (7-12) from the field and went 5-for-6 from the line. On Saturday, he scored 13 points and snagged eight boards, four on the offensive glass, against UW-Eau Claire.
