Bublitz averaged 19.3 points per game over UWSP’s four games while leading the team with 23 made free throws. He scored 19 points in UWSP’s high-caliber matchup against Augustana on Dec. 22. He then poured in 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds in each game in Texas, including the game-winner with 0.9 seconds left to beat East Texas Baptist on Dec. 29. In Saturday’s conference opener at UW-River Falls, Bublitz scored 18 points, including 13 in UWSP’s big second half to pull away.

Powell won both the 50 free and the 100 back in UWSP’s win at UW-Oshkosh on Friday. His victorious time in the 50 free was 22.49, the lone finisher under 23 seconds. He clocked in at 56.19 in the 100 back, more than a half second faster than the rest of the field.
