Hess made a statement at both ends of the pitch in Saturday’s win over UW-Stout.  She helped the Pointers lock down the back as UWSP allowed just one shot against in the match.  Hess also pushed forward frequently recording two goals, including the game-winner, and led the Pointers with nine shots.

Johnson scored her first collegiate goal in UWSP’s conference opening win over UW-Stout on Saturday.  Saturday was Johnson’s first nod as a starter and she responded with a full 90 minutes and numerous creative offensive chances for her teammates.  Johnson had two of UWSP’s 39 shots and both were on net, including her goal.
