University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Claire Roberts, senior (Oakfield, Wis.,/ Horace Mann),  won the 800 meter run this past weekend at the Thad Metzger Invite hosted by Carthage College.  Roberts finished with a time of 2:18.58 almost two seconds ahead of the second place finished.  Robert’s time was her season best and she is currently ranked second in the conference in the 800 meter run.  Roberts earned ten team points for her first place finish which helped the Pointers to a second place team finish.
