Kohn finished fourth in the triple jump with a distance of 15.28 meters (50' 1.75"), a mere 0.15 meters behind the event champion at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. His mark was a personal best. His All-American honor extended the men's streak to 24 consecutive years with at least one outdoor All-American.
