Nelson led the Pointers with a .583 batting average while slugging .750 over four league games last week.  On Wednesday at Oshkosh, he had two doubles among his three hits on the day.  He drove in three runs in the game one victory.  Nelson had a pair of hits in each game of Sunday’s doubleheader sweep of Finlandia.  He drove in a run, scored another and drew a walk in game one.  In game two, he had two RBI and scored twice while also being hit by two pitches in the win.

Brewer shut down a potent UW-Oshkosh offense to the tune of just two hits over 6.0 innings pitched on Wednesday. He struck out four and gave up just a single unearned run to earn the win.
