Baehman averaged 23.0 points and 12.5 rebounds per game in a pair of UWSP wins last week. She scored 20 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in the home win over UW-Stout on Wednesday.  On Saturday, she contributed a career-high 26 points and snagged 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season to lead UWSP to head coach Shirley Egner’s 300th career win in conference play.  For the week, Baehman was 8-for-8 from the free-throw line, 16-of-29 from the field, 6-for-12 from three-point range, had six assists, three blocks and a steal.

Other Nominees:

Ethan Bublitz:
Bublitz led the Pointers in scoring in a pair of wins last week.  He poured in 22 points and had five rebounds in a win at UW-Stout on Wednesday.  On Saturday, he scored a game-high 16 as the Pointers completed the season sweep of UWEC.  For the week, he averaged 19.0 points per game, eight rebounds, six assists, two blocks, two steals and went 9-for-10 from the free-throw line.

Ben Vosters: Vosters placed fourth at the Pete Willson Invitational last weekend in Wheaton, Ill.  He won by tech fall twice and won two decisions in the 133 bracket.

Anna Pilecky: Pilecky won both the 1,000- and 500-yard freestyle events at UW-La Crosse on Saturday.  Her winning time of 10:40.30 in the 1,000 was over a minute faster than the first UWL finisher.  In the 500, she clocked in at 5:17.78, 16 seconds ahead of teammate Haley Dees.

Sylviann Momont: Consistency was the key for Momont in her first pentathlon of the season.  While not recording any personal bests in a sub-event, she still managed to score 30 points more than she ever has to win the event with a score of 3426 at the Warhawk Classic.  Her mark is currently the best in the WIAC and fifth nationally.

Calden Wojt: Wojt ran his first 200-meter dash of the 2019 season at the Leonard “Squig” Converse Invite winning with a time of 22.14. The time is 0.06 seconds faster than he opened up with last year.  His mark is currently the second-best in the WIAC and sixth nationally.

Alex Grubbs: Grubbs notched her seventh goal of the season on Saturday against UW-Eau Claire.  Her goal was registered at the 16:40 mark of the second, with the assist to Shannon Motzko.
