University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Sam Lorr, freshman (Chisago, Minn., / Chisago Lakes), scored two game winning goals in back-to-back games this weekend.  Hosting Marian University on Friday night, Lorr scored the first goal of the night with an even-handed strike five minutes into an eventual 5-0 Pointer win.  The following afternoon at Marian University, Lorr scored the second goal of the game midway through the first period of a 4-1 Pointer win.  On the season Lorr has played in all 16 games, tallying six goals and four assists and is tied for the team lead with three game winning goals.
