Other Nominees:

Jess Posch:
Posch won the three-meter diving event on Saturday against UW-Eau Claire with a score on 193.55.  She also finished fourth in the one-meter event.

Matt Inserra: Inserra joined the 200-yard freestyle relay this year and helped the Pointers to the event win on Saturday against UWEC with a time of 1:26.34, more than two seconds faster than the runner-up.  In the 50-yard freestyle, he placed third, less than a second behind the winner.   Inserra also came in third in the 100-yard freestyle.

Alexis Petersen: Peterson shut down the league’s leading scorer on Sunday, holding her to a single shot in the match.  Her lock down defense helped UWSP allow just that single shot in a shutout win over UW-Platteville.  In UWSP’s other win last week, she helped the UWSP defense allow just a single goal in a 3-1 victory at UW-Oshkosh.

Bri Widmer: Widmer drilled a 35-yard free kick into the lower right of the net in a 3-0 win over UW-Platteville on Sunday.  It was her first goal at UWSP.  She took three shots in the win.

Hailey Jarr: Jarr hit .347 over 13 sets last week for the Pointers.  In Friday’s first match, she had her second double-digit kills match of the season with 10 against Carthage. She hit .471 with just two errors in 17 attempts.  She added eight more kills against Elmhurst and contributed four blocks.  In Saturday’s weekend finale, Jarr hit .444 against No. 13 Hope College.  She totaled 22 kills and five blocks on the week.

Kameron Kryzanski: Kryzanski had a break-out game on Saturday with a career-high 12 tackles against UW-Stout.  He also scooped up a fumble and returned it for a touchdown, his first career-points.  Of his 12 tackles on Saturday, he has 1.0 sack, 1.5 tackles for loss and six solo tackles.
