Mulzer continued his dominance on the hill with a 1-0 week with a 0.60 ERA and 17 strikeouts. On Wednesday, he pitched 7.0 innings with four strikeouts and no earned runs in a no-decision against UW-Stout. He returned to the bump on Sunday and set a career-high with 13 strikeouts in 8.0 innings in a win over IIT. He allowed just a single earned run in 15.0 innings pitched and lowered his season ERA to 1.40, third-best in the WIAC. Opposing hitters are batting just .184 against Mulzer this season, the lowest of any WIAC hurler.

Ryan Stanicek: Stanicek slugged .870 on the week with three home runs. Six RBI and six runs scored over the seven games. He singled, walked and stole a base in both games against UW-Stout on Wednesday.  On Thursday, he stole another base, scored a run and had another hit against UW-Oshkosh. On Saturday, he belted a home run in each game of the day’s sweep of IIT to extend his hitting streak to nine. He kept up the contributions on Sunday with four RBI and two runs scored, including his third home run of the weekend, as UWSP swept IIT. Stanicek hit .391 for the week, has scored at least one run in each of the last five games and has RBI in four straight.
