Wellhausen won the 800-meter dash at the Augustana Women’s Invite with a time of 2:15.66. Her time now places her second in the conference and 29th in the country.

Larkin Hoepner: Hoepner took fourth in the women’s hammer throw with a toss of 48.01 meters. Her mark currently makes places her fifth in the conference and 30th in the country.
Ashley Cohen: Cohen hit .450 over the Pointers’ six games last week, hitting safely in five of the six contests. Her nine hits, three doubles and 12 total bases led the team. She began the week with a pair of hits in each game of the doubleheader at UW-Platteville. In game one, she belted two doubles with an RBI and a run scored. On Saturday, she also picked up two hits in each game against UW-Oshkosh with a run batted in both games. She doubled and scored on Sunday against UW-Eau Claire to close out the week.
Nathan Mulzer: Mulzer no-hit UW-La Crosse in La Crosse until the seventh inning in Saturday’s second game to initiate the day’s sweep of the Eagles. He struck out a career-high 12 in the win and gave up just one hit in 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The win moved Mulzer to 4-1 on the season with a 1.73 ERA, the fourth-best among WIAC hurlers.
Ryan Stanicek: Stanicek hit safely in all four games and had a .500 batting average in the four games at UW-La Crosse last week. He went 2-for-3 in the opening game of the series with three RBI, a run scored. He also reached base on a hit by pitch and had a stolen base in game one. In game two, he picked up two more hits, drew a walk, stole a base and scored a run. On Sunday, he had three more hits with another run scored and another stolen base. Three of his seven hits were doubles and his .714 slugging percentage led the Pointers over the weekend.
