Delmore tied a career-high with 23 points in the Pointers’ semifinal win on Friday against UW-Oshkosh.  He went 10-for-10 at the free throw line and was 3-for-5 from the three-point range.  In Sunday’s title game against UW-River Falls, he scored 22 points with a career-high five madethree-pointers.  He also had a career-best three blocks in the win to help UWSP advance to the NCAA Tournament.  

Other Nominees: 

Alyssa Cooper: Cooper hit .500 over the four-game opening weekend.  All six of her hits were doubles for a 1.000 slugging percentage.  In the opening game win over Lakeland, she drove in one.  In game two, she had two RBI in a 3-for-4 game in a victory over Marian.  On Sunday, she capped her weekend with two doubles and a run scored against CUW.  Her three RBI, 12 total bases and six doubles all lead the team through four games.
