Jekel was part of four conference relay wins with record times and won three individual events at the WIAC Championships. In the 100-yard freestyle, Jekel won the event with a WIAC meet record time of 44.55. He also secured a set of first-place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke with times of 48.76 and 49.64. Jekel was part of the 200-yard freestyle relay team that won the event with a time of 1:19.58, a new WIAC time and the leading time in the country. He also contributed in the 400-yard medley relay, 200-yard medley relay, and 400-yard freestyle relay, relays that also shattered WIAC meet records.

MJ Delmore: Delmore averaged 14.0 points over the two games last week. He racked up a career-high-tying 23 in UWSP’s Senior Night win over No. 14 UW-Oshkosh. He was a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe and 6-of-9 from the field. For the week, he shot 1.000 from the free throw line and .500 (4-8) from three-point range.
Ali Biagini: Biagini scored a goal and added an assist in UWSP’s season finale win over Concordia (Wis.) on Tuesday. Her assist came on the opening goal of the game. Later in the first period, she scored an unassisted goal to put UWSP up 2-0 in an eventual 3-1 win. The game was her fourth multi-point game of the season.
Michelle Petkovsek: Petkovsek won the 800-meter run in 2:19.98 uncontested beating the second-place finisher by over 5 seconds and is now tied for fourth in conference.
Karen Wethal: Wethal won both the shot put (13.21 meters) and weight throw (15.54 meters) by over a half meter in both. She is now ranked fourth and sixth in the conference in shot and weight throw.
