Dodge set a UWSP school record with 10 made three-pointers in Saturday’s win over Hope College.  He shot 10-of-13 from three-point range and made his last five three-point attempts of the game.  He shot 15-of-24 from the field and was 2-for-2 from the free throw line.  He poured in 42 points in the win, the second-highest single-game scoring in school history.  In addition to his record-setting shot making, Dodge added three rebounds, an assist and a steal.

Other Nominees:

Drew McLean:
McLean netted a pair of goals to help guide the Pointers to a 5-3 victory over Concordia (Wis.). McLean scored the game’s opening goal 4:13 into the contest to give UWSP an early 1-0 lead. At 9:18 of the second period, McLean put the Pointers up 2-1 over CUW capping his first career multi-goal game. McLean carries a four-game point steak into the midweek series with Adrian.

Anna O'Malley: O’Malley won a pair of events to propel the Pointers past the Titans in a dual on Friday.  She won the 200-yard IM by nearly four seconds with a time of 2:18.88.  In the 500-yard freestyle, her victory was almost 20 seconds faster than the field at 5:35.60.  She also joined teammates to finish second in the 200-yard medley relay that was just a half a second behind the winning team.

Jackie Braun: Braun won both the one- and three-meter diving events in UWSP’s dual win over UWO.  She scored 256.35 in the three-meter, the only diver with more than 200 points in the event.  In the one-meter dive, she scored 259.50 points to best the field by 10 points.

Riley Patton: Patton won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.27 second.  His victory came by more than a second over the other competitors and help lift UWSP past UWO in a dual meet victory.

Owen Gluck:  Gluck won the three-meter diving event with a score of 313.25 to help the UWSP swimming and diving team win a dual at UW-Oshkosh on Friday.

Joe Crook: Crook wrestled his first match of the season after returning from a season-ending ACL tear last year. He pinned his UW-Platteville opponent in 1:52 to start his year 1-0.
