Other Nominees:

Nate Dodge:
Dodge poured in 27 points in UWSP’s win over UW-Superior to extend the Pointers’ win streak over the Yellowjackets to 29-straight.  He shot 7-of-11 from behind the arc, one made three-pointer and a single point shy of his season high.  He hit five three-pointers in the first half to propel the Pointers to a 20-point lead at the half.  He added three steals and three rebounds in the win. It was the second time this year that Dodge shot at least 60 percent from behind the arc with at least seven made threes.  His 17.0 scoring average in third in the conference and his 4.50 made three-pointers per game tops the WIAC.

Colin Raver: Raver tallied a pair of goals over the WIAC opening weekend.  On Saturday, Raver kick started the UWSP offense, scoring a second-period power-play goal to guide the Pointers to a 2-2 tie with UW-Superior.  In Friday’s win at UW-River Falls, he scored an insurance goal early in the third period.  Raver carries a six-game point streak, including three-straight with a goal scored, into the weekend.

Anna O'Malley: O’Malley took a second-place finish in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 58.33 at the Wheaton Invitational on Saturday.  She finished third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:10.25, less than two seconds off the leader.
