Other Nominees:

Kendra Kundinger: Kundinger kept up her string of double-figure digs with 17 and 25 in the Pointers’ two matches last week.  She added three assists to her 17-digs performance in the win over UWO on Wednesday.  On Saturday, she recorded 25 digs , five assists and a kill in her final home regular season match.  She totaled 42 digs, eight assists and a kill in two matches and continues to lead the conference in digs this season.

April Gehl: Gehl recorded double-doubles in both matches for UWSP last week giving her 10 in the last 12 matches.  She started the week with 21 kills and 19 digs in the Pointers’ victory over UW-Oshkosh.  Then on Saturday, she racked up a career-best 26 kills and added 18 digs in a five-setter versus UWEC.  She swung at a clip of .207 with 47 kills while totaling 37 digs, two services aces, a block and an assist on the week.

Gregg Matheson: Matheson was a spark in all facets of special teams in the win on Saturday.  In the return game, he made a pair of key blocks to spring big returns.  He also made two tackles on kickoffs holding UWEC deep in its own territory to start drives.

Tyler Raschke:
Raschke led a stifling UWSP defense in Saturday’s win over UWEC.  He led the team with nine tackles, including 2.5 tackles for loss, the most on the team.  His nine tackles were one shy of a career-high for the senior.  His presence on the field helped UWSP hold the Blugolds to just 78 yards rushing and 220 yards of total offense.
