Hardyman recorded a pair of goals in a 2-0 week for the UWSP soccer team. In Wednesday’s road win at Lawrence, Hardyman scored early in the second half to put the Pointers in front, 3-0. In Sunday’s win, Hardyman picked up an assist on the eventual game-winning goal to help UWSP hand Ripon its first defeat of the year. Then in the second half, Hardyman buried a free kick from about 30 yards out over the wall to give UWSP a two-goal lead. On the week, she put two of her three shots on goal in the back of the net.

Kendra Kundinger: Kundinger piled up 115 digs over an defeated six-match week. She began her week with 17 digs in a win over Lawrence and had six in the win over St. Norbert before exiting with an injury. She returned to the floor on Friday and totaled 50 digs over the two wins, including 30 in a four-set victory over No. 23 St. Thomas. Kundinger added six assists and three service aces on the week as well to help UWSP improve to 13-2.
Alexis Petersen: Petersen has meshed well in filling a center back role in her first season with UWSP. She was a pivotal piece on defense in UWSP’s two shutout wins this week. In Wednesday’s win at Lawrence, Petersen aided the Pointers defense that allowed just three total shot in the match. Against a previously undefeated Ripon squad, Petersen helped to limit the Red Hawks to just six total shot in the team’s fifth shutout win of the year.
