Herra led UWSP in receiving with 10 catches for 149 yards and a touchdown in the Pointers’ win at Albion on Saturday.  His longest catch of the day was a 48-yard reception on the final play of the first half.  Then in the fourth quarter, he found pay dirt with a 39-yard touchdown reception to add to the UWSP lead.  His 10 catches on Saturday were a career high for the junior.
 
Other nominees:
Blake Lehman-Lehman was pivotal in a UWSP defense that allowed just 112 yards through the air in Saturday’s win at Albion.  He made four tackles, three of the solo variety, and broke up a pass.
Alex Malueg- Malueg dropped four of his five punts in Saturday’s win at Albion inside the 20.  He averaged 31.8 yards per punt, but the placement of his punts was key to assisting the UWSP defense in stalling drives deep in Albion territory.
