Beaman led the Pointers with 10 tackles, seven of which were solo tackles, in Saturday’s double-overtime victory.  His biggest play in the game came in the second overtime when he broke through the line and blocked the extra-point attempt, the difference in the game.

Other nominees:
Jerry Williams - Williams became just the 19th player in school history with 200 or more receiving yards in a game when he rolled up 201 reception yards in Saturday’s win against St. Norbert.  He had two different receptions for 51 yards, the two longest plays of the game by either team.  His most important catch of the game came in the fourth quarter when he hauled in a 32-yard catch to convert a fourth down in the game-tying drive.

Hayden Neidert - Neidert kicked the game-winning extra point in double overtime in his first collegiate game.  He converted four extra points on the day with three of them in crucial spots to extend the game or win it.  Neidert also had four kickoffs that averaged 59.0 yards on the day.
