Carlson lit up Pioneer pitching over the four-game series in Platteville.  He hit .562 (9-for-16) over the four games with six runs batted in, four runs scored.  In the opening game of the series, he had an RBI double in addition to a walk and a run scored.  On Friday, he went 4-for-5 in each game of the doubleheader.  In game one, he hit his first career home run, added a double, drove in four runs and scored twice.  In the series finale, he singled four times, scored a run and drove in another.  His on-base for the week with .611 and he slugged .875.
