Tyjeski won the discus throw at the Ashton May Invite with a personal best throw of 43.39 meters (142’ 4”), which was almost a 3 meter improvement from her prior best mark. She also finished fourth, third collegian, in the hammer throw with another personal best of 49.56 meters (162’ 7”) by two meters. She is ranked second in the discus, and fourth in the hammer within the conference and ninth and 22nd nationally.
