Known for his defensive skills, Garrett Suter, senior (Madison. Wis., / Oregon), led the Pointers in offense this past weekend in two tough conference wins.  On Friday, Suter had the game winning goal at the 3:05 mark of the second period on his only shot of the night.  On Saturday Suter had five shots and found the back of the net on three of them.  Suter opened the game with an even-strength goal nine minutes into the first period.  With less then two minutes left in the period Suter took advantage of a Pointer power-play to score his second goal of the night.  Midway through the second period, Suter assisted on the Pointers’ third goal of the night to give UWSP a one goal lead.  With the Pointers short-handed and the score tied 3-3, Suter scored his third goal of the night to give the Pointers a 4-3 win.
