Sharkey had a goal and two assists while leading the Pointers in shots as UWSP went 1-0-1 in a weekend series against No. 2 Adrian. In Friday night’s draw, Sharkey racked up six shots, the most by any player in the game. On Saturday, he did his damage on the scoreboard netting a game-tying goal in the first period. Later in the frame, he added a helper as UWSP went ahead, 2-1. In the second period, he added his second assist of the game on a power play goal to put UWSP back in front, 3-2. He added five shots in the win, leading the Pointers nad tied for the most by any skater in the game. It was Sharkey’s first three-point night of the year.
