University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Hermsen racked up a trio of pins on his way to the finals in the 165 weight class at the Pointer Open on Saturday.  In his first match of the day, he won by fall at the 2:40 mark.  On his next two matches, he pinned his opponent at the 2:02 mark of each match.  Then in the finals, he held his own against a Division I wrestler from UW-Madison, dropping a close 5-3 decision.
