University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point Athletics

Sharkey contributed in all scoring in a double overtime thriller on Sat. March 5, to defeat No. 12 UW-River Falls 4-3 helping the Pointers to a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championship. On Saturday, Sharkey’s assisted in the Pointers' first two goals before finding the back of the net himself at the 3:12 minute mark of the third period. In the second overtime, Sharkey assisted in the game winner to help capture the Commissioners Cup.
