Derks took home the 800-meter dash title in 2:17.42 at the Pointer Quad on Saturday. The junior’s time ranks 25th in the country for Division III this season. As a team, UW-Stevens Point placed second behind third-ranked UW-La Crosse and finished ahead of fourth-ranked UW-Oshkosh.
