Fitzgerald won the 800-meter dash with a personal-best time of 1:54.81 on Saturday at the Pointer Quad. His time is good for 18th among Division III runners this season. As a team, the 11th-ranked Pointers finished third behind No. 5 UW-Whitewater and No. 3 UW-Oshkosh.
